New for 2026 we are now offering Children's Craft Birthday Parties. We currently have four activities, but will be adding to these. We love creating and crafting , so want to pass on our enthusiasm to the next generation. Please note we are only , at the moment, able to offer these within 25 mile radius of Thurso, Caithness. Venues outside this radius , but still in Caithness and Sutherland will encounter a 45p per mile mileage charge. If you do not have a venue we may be able to hire TCDT Pop Up space Rotterdam Street , Thurso.

1. Positivity Jar
Guests will decorate and paint their own special jar to represent positivity and self-care. Together, we’ll explore positive statements and feelings—such as moments when we feel happy, proud, calm, or accomplished. Each guest will write these uplifting thoughts on small pieces of paper and place them inside their jar. Over time, or whenever they’re feeling down, they can open the jar and read a reminder of their own positive moments and strengths. This creative and meaningful activity encourages self-reflection, confidence, and joy while celebrating the birthday in a fun, hands-on way. All equipment, materials, and step-by-step tuition are provided throughout the session.
2.Wooden Pen & Pencil Holder Painting
Guests will design and paint their own wooden pen or pencil pot, choosing from a variety of colours, patterns, and creative ideas. The session encourages creativity and self-expression, with relaxed discussion around designs, colour choices, and personal style. Guests are free to work independently or follow along with guided, step-by-step tuition if they wish. This fun, hands-on craft activity allows everyone to create a unique keepsake to take home and enjoy long after the birthday celebration.
3.Origami Box - guests will be guided to learn the art of origami and create their very own lidded keepsake box to take home. It’s a fun, hands-on activity that gently builds listening skills, coordination, and patience — all while having lots of laughs and enjoying time together. A creative, mindful, and memorable way to celebrate a birthday!
4.Origmai Shirt -guests will learn how to fold and create their very own origami football shirt, then personalise it with their own colours, patterns, and team-inspired designs. With guided instruction throughout, everyone can follow along step by step — building listening skills, coordination, creativity, and patience while having fun. It’s a brilliant hands-on activity for football fans and creative minds alike, and everyone goes home with a unique shirt they’ve designed themselves.
Costs
£150 for up to 10 guests. Extra guests are £10 per head. The session will be from 1.5 - 2 hours. Also included are party gift bags for each guest.
We also provide a photo backdrop to take some creative moments of the day.
